Hegrid is a useful and versatile performer on his day who was having his first start since 2008 when producing an eye-catching run on the Flat here last month. Impersonator continues in tremendous shape but the handicapper may have got to him by raising him 9lbs for completing his treble at Galway. Novel Investment is another to have suffered in the weights while Golden Kite may be better over fences these days. THE EQUALISER hasn't had too much racing and is progressing enough to take this. He wasn't far behind Gallery Man and Golden Kite at Listowel in June and this slightly shorter trip and revised weights look in his favour.
