In depth

Verdict

Hairy Molly at last returned to form at Kilbeggan but the handicapper has reacted by putting him on his highest ever mark. Streets Of Gold prefers some give in the ground and conditions were ideal when he scored at Kilbeggan. It's unlikely the going will be soft enough for him here but DECOY DADDY will love the conditions and Anthony Mullins found him an ideal prep race for this on the level at Tramore last week. He looks to have as good a chance of any in an open contest though Schelm is an obvious threat as he has won four times over fences and isn't on a bad mark. After landing his first two races over fences in the spring, Hampstead Heath blotted his copybook in the Galway Plate by refusing to race but a return to that previous form would see him involved.
