Verdict

Aidan O’Brien won this last year with the top-class Kew Gardens and NORWAY is a full brother to several smart winners including Epsom Derby winner Ruler Of The World. He has entries in all of the autumn’s big juvenile races and is sure to have learned plenty from his fifth at the Curragh, where he finished ahead of better-fancied stablemates despite tender handling in the closing stages. Karasi also ran well at the Curragh on debut and his half-sister won over a mile. Excelcius was behind the more-experienced Biltmore at Naas but has far more scope and it will be a surprise if he doesn’t the tables. Third World has also shown promise and the filly Planet Venus has a nice pedigree but this does look a particularly hot maiden.
