    Verdict

SMOOTH SAILING showed major improvement on two juvenile runs to deliver a surprise success on reappearance and could well prove attractively treated if the result is taken at face value. The drop in trip should not prove an issue and she's preferred to Procedure. The latter has arguably been a little low-key this term for the Stoute team but has still been running well enough to be a leading player in what rates a modest handicap. Rux Ruxx is interesting on handicap debut and a mention too for Savannah Beau, who returned to form when shaping well at Nottingham the last day after being denied a clear run.
