      Verdict

Linda Green can get back to winning ways at the expense of Chilly Cracker, Ballybunion, Tribute and Black Oval all making for a close finale. All those mentioned have been placed of late and should all figure here again, with narrow preference for Linda Green who is still not badly treated after gaining back-to-back victories at Bath earlier this season. Although her recent second at Warwick was on softer ground, she will go on the prevailing going, and has a good a chance of returning to winning ways. Chilly Cracker ran well here recently considering that he was hampered early on, and Ballybunion will appreciate the extra furlong after another commendable effort over the minimum at Newbury last time. Tribute tried to make all in a Nottingham seller 12 days ago and nearly pulled it off but has to find a bit more to figure, and Black Oval has a handy weight but is another that needs a few pounds improvement. Linda Green is a tentative choice in the finale.
