In depth
Verdict
Hawatif is another Mark Johnston contender who will go close if rediscovering her form after proving a disappointment the last twice, although it is interesting to note that the handicapper has left her on the same mark despite those notable reversals. Prying Pandora finally got off the mark over course and distance after a string of placed efforts and may improve again but she will need to as this is a tougher contest and she also faces different ground conditions. Alexandrakollontai ran a cracker to be third in the Carlisle Bell and won here during the late spring and is a tempting proposition but giving 10lb to BARGAIN BUY may just prove a bridge too far. The Haggas filly looks the one with greatest potential for improvement whilst rating a reliable and consistent sort and is at home on the forecast quick ground.
