Verdict
The weights give English Fellow a good chance of reversing recent form with Lincolneurocruiser and can give Brian McMahon another winner at a course that has been profitable for followers of his yard over the last few seasons. Princely Vale looks sure to have his share of the market as he has come good in weaker races than this since dropping into sellers. However, like a number of the rest, he may struggle on these terms and will have to work hard if he is to land the four-timer. It would also be dangerous to read too much into Simplify's improved performance last time as a few of his rivals failed to give their running and he looks flattered off 74 at the moment. In contrast to English Fellow, who has improved with each start up to press. Six furlongs appears to be his ideal trip for the time being and the Robellino colt does not have much to find to make his first start in a nursery a winning one.
