Verdict
Beyond Equal shrugged off a penalty for an earlier success at Salisbury to score easily at Haydock and may not have finished improving yet. But he has a further 9lb rise to contend with here and SHAHEEN is just preferred. The latter won a higher grade sprint than this at Pontefract during the week and there looks more to come from John Quinn’s charge. Dane O’Neill switches to handicap debutant Lashabeeh after partnering Wafeer when the latter finished third at Bath and the former could figure but the remainder are harder to fancy.
