In depth

Verdict

CLOUD DRIFT (NAP) took a while to warm to his task at Doncaster at the end of last month but was making up ground hand-over-fist in the closing stages and was only half-a-length behind last Saturday’s Newmarket winner Indie Angel at the finish. Racing off the same mark and with a visor added to aid concentration, The Queen’s gelding can get back to winning ways here. Tiritomba has been threatening to win for a while and her fourth in the Sandringham Stakes at Ascot was a career-best so she looks a big danger. Monaadhil is a course and distance winner who has been steadily coming to hand and Gift Of Kings may have more to offer now handicapping.
