        Verdict

        A good run from Liam’s Lass in the first division would boost the chances of Compass Point, second to that one here 10 days ago and now visored. Topkapi Star showed promise last year for Roger Varian but has shown nothing so far this season. STRAIGHT ASH is 8lb lower than his last winning mark and he made late gains at Redcar last time having finished fourth over 7f at that track earlier. He’s worth a second look in this along with Kodiline, who has also tumbled down the ratings and wasn’t beaten far at Kempton last month. Bristol Missile could also figure.
