    Verdict

Jedburgh and Marble Garden are the two to concentrate on in this three runner race, with the slight preference for Jedburgh. The colt looks like an improving type and was a good winner of a weak nursery at Epsom last time. The selection had previously ran well behind Sgt Pepper at Salisbury, and looks like the one to beat here. Marble Garden recovered well from a slow start to run well behind Almuraad on this track earlier in the month, so is the one that will give the selection most to do. The newcomer Misaro will probably need the run but should be watched in the market for any significant support. It could be quite close at the finish but our slight preference is for the John Dunlop colt Jedburgh.
