Verdict
The four to concentrate on here are Xcess Baggage, Kiss The Rain, Zara Louise and Ivy Moon, and the preference is for Zara Louise. The selection could represent the value in this race and is expected to go well under promising claimer Nicky Mackay. She has shown only glimpses of ability and is open to improvement and our selection could go close under a featherwight. Xcess Baggage is the one that could run the selection close as he has shown ability on several of his starts and today has the assistance of Paul Hanagan. He has been threatening to win a race and will not be too far away at the finish. Of the rest, Ivy Moon is a course and distance winner and is worthy of respect, while Kiss The Rain has shown improvement recently and has outstanding place claims. This is an open race and we expect Xcess Baggage to go really well, but it might be worth taking a chance on Zara Louise at an attractive price.
