        Verdict

        NEW WORLD POWER has yet to oblige in six starts but remains very lightly-raced for one of his age and his last two starts in decent handicap company suggest a win is nigh. He was only beaten a head last time by a multiple winner and should handle a 2lb rise in the weights. There is a possible concern about conditions although he's handled good to soft ground perfectly well. Chancery hasn't scored since October 2015 but ran up against a red-hot improver in Kasperenko last time and should prove competitive once more off his current mark. William Hunter will appreciate this drop in grade and Compton Mill has useful form on soft ground and should contend.
