Henry Candy is having the worst possible start to the season and so The Abbess has to overlooked on this occasion and so we will have to go with Love Thirty, with Hachita also expected to run well. The selection is trained by Mick Channon and this daughter of Mister Baileys is taking a huge drop in class here. She had little chance against Virginia Waters and company in the 1000 guineas , but had previously finished a close up fourth behind Pennkenna Princess in the Fred Darling. With ground and trip ideal she will be hard to beat today. Hachita finished third behind Notnowcato in a decent handicap last time, but does take a step up in class here. As she is lightly raced there should be improvement to come and she should take a hand in the finish. The Abbess made a winning debut in a decent Nottingham contest last year and if the stable could find a bit of form she would be one to watch out for. Winds Of Time could be anything and looks the pick of the remainder, however Love Thirty has form in top company and is a confident choice.
