Cockatoo Island made a promising start when staying on over this trip at Naas so it wasn't a surprise when he was stepped up to 1m2f at Navan but he weakened at the furlong pole. He'll make a bold bid to lead all but MIDNIGHT CROSSING has the better form. Eddie Lynam's filly wasn't beaten far by How High The Moon at the Curragh in August then ran reasonably in the Group 2 May Hill at Doncaster. She reappeared with a fine run at Dundalk in April when in need of the run and should lose her maiden tag here. Crafted Jewel produced three excellent runs in her first season including when a close fifth in a lucrative sales event at the Curragh. She won't be long in winning while Propriano showed enough on his debut at Navan in October to suggest he'll soon be off the mark.
