Locus Standi has been competing at Dundalk since October and going well. He showed nothing on Turf but must have made progress and is on a very fair mark. War Room has also been in action on the Polytrack and has won four times on the surface but he's never even reached a place in eleven starts on Turf. Six Silver Lane has won nine times including a double in minor company at Ayr and Musselburgh last summer. He's another not badly in considering his record and his trainer can get one ready after a break. DEEDS NOT WORDS has never raced beyond 7f in 43 starts but most certainly wasn't stopping over that trip at Gowran last week where he would have finished closer but for being impeded. Tonight's fast going may just help to see him home so he gets the nod. Valentana makes her handicap debut on her reappearance after three reasonable runs so she's one to keep an eye on in the market and though Duchessofflorence has never won she's hasn't been beaten far in similar handicaps.
