Verdict

Aztec Eagle won over a mile at Cork on testing ground in May last year and will be sharper for a run there last month. He's never been anywhere near this trip unlike Rips Dream, twice a winner over 1m4f at Dundalk who ran very well over a trip too short at Cork last time. MONACO ROSE (NAP), twice a winner for Richard Fahey, had tumbled down the weights and took advantage at Down Royal on Friday, coming home 4l clear over slightly shorter. She's been raised 10lb but comes here with a 6lb penalty further reduced by Andrew Slattery's claim and she looks the one to beat. Walking On Glass also ran at that Down Royal fixture and though unable to follow up his Navan victory produced another fine run and should get competitive again. Time For Mabel has returned to the Flat in good form though a 7lb rise for last month's victory here makes this more difficult.
