      Verdict

      Three-times track winner Real Appeal was well beaten in this last year but followed a victory at Dundalk in January with a cracking effort in a lucrative race at Doha a month later. Goldana, a regular winner in Germany, made a successful debut for Joseph O'Brien when landing a Curragh Group 3 with Power Under Me well beaten. NEW ENERGY (NAP) is undoubtedly the form pick on his second in the 2000 Guineas at the Curragh, where he had Wexford Native just over a length behind, and a close second to subsequent dual Group 1 winner Kinross in the Group 2 Park Stakes at Doncaster. He didn't get as close to the latter in the Group 1 Prix de la Foret at Longchamp but should be ready for this. Villanova Queen beat a strong field at Tipperary, her first start since her run in the Irish 1000 Guineas last May.
