Maverick Man's best run to date came over 1m2f here when runner-up to Snow Blizzard and he hasn't been as effective over 1m4f subsequently. BE MY STORM was unfortunate to come up against the well-touted newcomer Akzar at the Curragh last month and only went down by a neck. Time may tell she was attempting the impossible and she will be unlucky to run up against one as good here. Echoes Of History made a very encouraging debut when just touched off by Lingapour over a mile at Dundalk but was slightly disappointing when easily beaten by Blasket Spirit at Cork.
