Verdict

This is a very poor opener. Kilcarry View was disqualified after making all at Sligo in August when his rider weighed in light then weakened quickly from the last in a better race at Galway. JOHANNA YEATS, beaten a long way in her three opening runs, came in for strong support on her handicap debut on the latter track and ran well enough to suggest she can go close here so gets the nod. Punitive was beaten a long way into fourth at Wexford though his stable remains in top form and though One For Joe has shown nothing to date it wouldn't be the greatest shock to see him improve stepping up in trip on this testing ground.
