Verdict

Willie Mullins looks to have found a good opportunity for FENTA DES OBEAUX to make a successful handicap debut on her reappearance. A winning bumper in France, she fell at the first on her debut for new connections but ran consistently in maidens and should be suited by the conditions. Veneziano Springs gained his first hurdling victory over this course and distance in March before a poor run over fences the following month while Killacolla has also won around here having landed the novices' hurdle on the card a year ago. Born By The Sea won a Killarney maiden in August but that was on good ground and he hasn't proved himself in these conditions. The four-year-old Father Ailbe looks best of the remainder.
