Verdict
AL MUHEER can turn the tables on Abbondanza on these terms. The consistent Capricorn Run is fancied to be best of the rest. That said, Ceremonial Jade has very little to prove in this company but he has a stiff test from top weight. Capricorn Run has been on the go for a long time now and his recent record looks a little jaded. He needs everything to go his way. Abbondanza has hardly put a foot wrong since the turn of the year and appears to be a much better horse on the all-weather than on turf. He has also been Ian Semple's flag bearer since his return to the training ranks and he will no doubt be going hell-for-leather in a bid to enhance the yard's profile. However, Al Muheer is 6lb better off at the weights from the last time they met and that may just be enough to swing the verdict in the favour of Clive Brittain's charge.
