        Verdict

        A fillies' handicap on a cold January afternoon makes limited appeal as a betting medium and the prices before the race are likely to reflect what a minefield for punters this represents. However, a chance is taken that the drop in trip and a good pull at the weights will enable Good Vibrations to reverse recent form with Rowan Pursuit and Paul Cole's charge is selected to rid herself of her maiden tag at the fifth time of asking. Alizar also makes a bit of appeal for one of the places and she could be a bet to nothing for each way punters if the prices permit. Out of the rest: Lady Piste and Park Avenue Princess have shown a good level of form in the past and should pick up prize-money in due course when the opportunities arise. However, today could belong to Good Vibrations, who is fancied to build on what was her best start to date after impressing in a narrow defeat last time.
