Verdict
A few of these have been struggling with their form of late so it may be worth giving Cashel Mead another chance and the lightly raced filly is given the narrowest of votes over Taranaki, Type One and Sir Desmond. Although any support for Only One Legend at big prices will be interesting and he is one to monitor in the betting. However, the John Spearing-trained selection is a speedy individual when she gets it right and has improved greatly since she reverted to sprinting towards the end of last term. The form of her latest start was given a significant boost when Blakeset followed up at Wolverhampton yesterday and if she takes to this surface, Cashel Mead could well surprise a few with her game attitude. Taranaki also makes plenty of appeal from further down the weights and is worth considering as a saver option should the market speak against Cashel Mead on her first try at Lingfield.
