Verdict

FREE RUNNING may prove the one to beat in this fillies’ handicap. She's still learning on the evidence of her latest start when leaving it late to hit top gear and going close over track and trip. Simon Crisford's filly finished ahead of Skidby Mill on that occasion and the latter subsequently boosted the form when scoring back here last week, though now carries 6lb extra. Miss Lillie is also penalised for her recent success over 1m2f and Ixelles Diamond makes more appeal over today's distance with Venus Grace likely to struggle in this company.
