In depth

Verdict

Glentaneous is penalised for scoring over track and trip and ANMAAT is preferred. The latter found only subsequent UAE Derby winner Rebel’s Romance too good at Kempton on his debut and has been gelded since. Jim Crowley prefers the latter to the newcomers Mosaaheb and Motarajja while another debutante in Sense Of Humour is worth noting. Southwell third Secret Box returns to action but makes more appeal than English Spirit.
