In a wide-open affair Berties Brother, Garstang and Mine The Balance are three in with chances and the narrowest of votes goes to Berties Brother. The selection has progressed nicely over the winter and hit winning form last time when beating My Reflection here over the six furlong trip. His previous second was gained over this distance so stamina is not a problem and a big run can be expected. Garstang looks to have been crying out for this trip following some excellent efforts over six furlongs and he could run into a place. Meanwhile Mine The Balance has strong claims on his course and distance third behind Welsh Dragon back in January. The steadily improving Grecianette looks the pick of the remainder, but Berties Brother is the one with winning form and a follow up looks on the cards.
