Verdict

A cracking sprint that can go to Another Glimpse, who will be very interesting is his exertions at Folkestone yesterday have not taken their toll. As is only to be expected there are plenty of dangers though and the likes of Madrasee, Seven No Trumps and Forever Phoenix all have to be respected as they arrive here with strong claims on the pick of their form. As does Dancing Mystery, who is showing no signs of losing his enthusiasm despite his advancing years. Lady Pekan is also worth a mention as she is very capable of putting the pace to a race of this nature. However, she is notoriously hard to win with and cannot be backed extreme confidence. A more solid option may be Another Glimpse, who has gradually regained his race fitness and, assuming he makes a quick reappearance, he may be able to weave his way through to take this late on today. Roxanne Mill is back on a handy mark and, although one to watch today, her shrewd trainer will find an opening for her in the future if his past record with other people's cast offs is anything to go by.
