Verdict

Supreme Piper can get recent losses back at the expense of Imperial Dream and Watch The Dove in the opener. Supreme Piper has to carry a penalty due to his easy win at Fontwell last month but should be well up to the task. Philip Hobbs's charge got no further than the first when a hot favourite to follow up at Newton Abbot ten days ago, but is normally a safe jumper and can outclass this opposition. He has taken on the likes of Rhinestone Cowboy in the past and with the ground and longer trip very much in his favour, is hard to oppose. Of the rest, Imperial Dream will make a smashing chaser in time, while Watch The Dove can reach the frame on this switch to hurdles. Supreme Piper is the one to be on though.
