Verdict

There are plenty in with chances in this handicap and we will side with KINGSGATE CASTLE to get the better of Crystal B Good, Freepressionist and Replicator. The selection is a course and distance winner and although he has been a bit hit and miss so far this year, he has the visor on today and he won't have to find a great deal of improvement to win this. Crystal B Good is an obvious danger as she is a lightly raced filly and she ran her best race yet when she chased home Itsher at Leicester last time. If she can reproduce that form here then she should have a say in the finish. Freepressionist did win a maiden on the polytrack last year but she has since failed to build on that and she has been a little disappointing in handicap company so far. Replicator is back to his best trip today although it is worth noting that he was travelling well when he was brought down at Wolverhampton over 7f last time. Towy Boy and Davids Mark are others to consider, but for the winner we will stick with Kingsgate Castle.
