Verdict
There was a lot to like about the way Silver Bark stuck to her task when winning her maiden over course and distance last month and she can halt the winning run of Our Kes with a similar effort today. Aggravation was also a winner last time and is entitled to plenty of respect. But like Just A Try, this trip has found her out in the past and others make more appeal. Our Kes had the race run to suit when brushing aside a 9lb higher mark here at the end of last month. However, a further 5lb rise does him no favours whatsoever this afternoon and, with the weights swinging the balance in the favour of Silver Bark, the rest appear to be up against it this afternoon. Therefore, this appears to be a good opportunity for Ed Dunlop to strike again with an in-form filly that can get one over on the boys if she is in the mood.
