Verdict

This is a hard one to call but Repeat might be the one, with the likes of Hadath, Free Option, Prince Domino and Meelup others to consider. This is not a race to get too heavily involved in but Gaye Kellaway has a good record on the all-weather so Repeat is the pick. A winner at the 21st time of asking when battling home in similar company at Southwell, he was never sighted there behind Cloud Dancer just two days ago. That was in claiming company, but against lesser opposition, and on a track that he has performed well on in the past, Repeat should at least make his presence felt. Hadath has struggled since coming back over from Ireland where he was successful five times, and was well beaten here last time, but would have a chance if able to reproduce a semblance of his best form. Free Option had tumbled down the weights when successful in a class D handicap here in January, and is not as straightforward these days. Although a light of former days, he is yet another to consider along with Meelup and Prince Domino. For the answer we return to Repeat who gets the most tentative of votes.
