Verdict
Ripple Effect can follow up his recent win, with Incline, Cayman Breeze, What-A-Dancer and Sir Laughalot seen as the main dangers. Ripple Effect only managed a minor maiden win at Carlisle for Andrew Balding but a change of scenery often works wonders, and the filly came good on just her second outing for Chris Dwyer over six furlongs here eight days ago. Reported to have gurgled in the past, she was a convincing winner of a classified stakes race, leaving the impression that there is more to come. Incline, a soft-ground performer on turf, was unlucky to be caught on the line by Lygeton Lad here in a grade higher event recently. he must go close on that effort, while What-A-Dancer was behind in seventh on that occasion and meets Incline on more favourable terms so he too must be included. Sir Laughalot produced his best performance yet when narrowly beaten by Compton Banker here last time, and with his stable in good form, is fancied along with Cayman Breeze who came very wide into the straight on his first visit here, and who is on a fair mark. Ripple Effect is the selection in the finale.
