In a competitive sprint, Forces Sweetheart, Rare Cross and Little Edward appear to be the three to concentrate on, with the tentative vote going to Ron Hodges' Little Edward. Forces Sweetheart was in terrific form prior to taking her chances in a recent Listed event at Windsor over 6 furlongs, however she doesn't have a great record on the all weather and so is passed over in favour of recent course and distance winner Little Edward. Whilst he has a penalty to contend with, the selection won with plenty in hand when last seen and must surely go very close today. Rare Cross will surely rate a very live danger if benefiting from her recent spin on the all-weather, and a repeat of her old form would see this ex-Irish filly go very close indeed. Of the rest it would be no surprise to see veteran Dancing Mystery and Peter Grayson's Stoneacre Boy laying down a challenge to the selection. However, for the winner we return to Little Edward.
