Verdict
Estrella Levante has struggled in the face of stiff tasks and should appreciate this significant ease in grade having made little impact in a Sandown maiden and a conditions event at the same venue on his two starts to date. However, Gary Moore's charge also drops back markedly in trip and is likely to find 5f on this sharp track against him so looks worth opposing at the likely short odds. Gerard Butler has a fine strike rate here but Beauchamp Rose looks one of the stable's lesser lights and is another who would appreciate further. Mimic made an encouraging debut at Newmarket last month and should go close granted normal progress but a tentative TEAMtalk vote goes to Isengard. Brian Meehan's filly showed plenty of pace on her recent debut at Windsor over 6f before tiring out of contention in the closing stages so the drop back to the minimum should suit and the booking of Kieren Fallon suggests connections mean business with the outing under her belt.
