      Verdict

      Just six go to post for this fascinating contest, Ascertain and Dr Cerullo both boast impressive form and will have their supporters, but we will take a chance on Amwell Brave. The John Jenkins trained colt bounced back to form last week when chasing home Forthright in a class C handicap, there were some decent performers behind that day and a repeat of that running should be good enough here. Ascertain represents top connections and the form of his victory here in November has been given a major boost by the third, so this one has to be respected. Dr Cerullo slaughtered his rivals at Wolverhampton back in December and wasn't disgraced behind Keepers Knight here last week, another bold showing can be expected. It is a very open affair with Marcus Eile and Lyrical Lady also having strong claims but we will side with Amwell Brave.
