Verdict

Richard Hannon won this a year ago but it's difficult to see Envisioning repeating the process on what he's shown to date. JAGANORY just about comes out top on official ratings and is handed the vote. A winner at Salisbury, he's run well on a couple of occasions at Kempton and this shouldn't take much winning. Crystalin has a nice pedigree for the job but has been well beaten in all three starts on the all-weather but Paris Carver has shown ability at this level and, with her lowly weight, has to be considered. Ragtime Dancer is the only course and distance winner in the line-up and she's been running reasonably in nurseries so looks the main threat. Toast Of Newbury drops into this company for the first time and could prove best of the remainder.
