Verdict

David Evans won this a year ago so Hillgove Angel, who was finishing strongly in a track and trip maiden last time, is one to consider. Helmsman made a fair debut here in October and was then sent to France where he's performed with credit without threatening. Steady Major has looked moderate but Peterhouse was staying on at the end of 7f here last time so, with this trip certain to be in his favour, he should get competitive. AMADEITY has been making steady progress and, though unable to hold off Red Touch at Wolverhampton last week, looks set to gain his first success.
