In depth

Verdict

MASTER THE STARS is well up to this grade having scored over the trip at Newcastle last summer and at Newmarket last month. He was well beaten into second at Haydock but can bounce back. Great Esteem scored over 1m4f here in March and this looks on the short side but High Commissioner has gained both career victories on the all-weather over the trip and ran a fine race at Windsor last time. Final Voyage is 5-9 on all-weather surfaces and stepping up in trip should suit while none of the remainder can be ruled out in a tight handicap.
