In depth

Verdict

GOLDEN RAINBOW started odds-on for his debut at Brighton where he led for a long way and again over the minimum trip here last month where he made all. He looks the type to improve again and can defy a penalty. Adaay in Asia made a promising debut here then didn't quite get the run of the race at Kempton while Ye Gud Thing found 5f too sharp at Wolverhampton and has changed stables. Diligently Done has a very speedy pedigree though the main threat could arrive in the shape of Shareef Shareef, a half-brother to five winners including a couple of smart performers.
