Verdict
Despite this being a lowly Class F event, it is looks like being quite a competitive heat, with the likes of Plum, Ocean Victory and Able Mind in opposition, with the latter, although the most exposed of these getting a narrow vote. From the same family as the high-class filly Pebbles, he has been a little expensive to follow having been a beaten favourite twice. However, he does have plenty of experience and a reproduction of his effort over course and distance back in May should be good enough at this level. It is debatable whether this drop in trip will suit Ocean Victory, but with Pat Eddery doing the steering he is not one to dismiss lightly. However, the main threat could prove to be Plum, who has shown promise on both her starts and this half-sister to mile winner Tiger Tops will certainly appreciate this step up in trip. The rest of these look to have plenty to find with the principals, so this looks best left to Able Mind to finally lose his maiden tag.
