Verdict
This is little better than a seller with the likes of the disappointing Princess Shoka still trying to lose her maiden tag. There is no doubt she does have ability, but whether she will consent to put her best foot forward, we will have to wait and see. On the plus side, she does have experience around here and as her mother was a winner over this trip, there is cause for optimism. Her second to Fulvio here back in March reads well enough at this level, and she is given one last chance to put matters right. No shortage of dangers, including Shares, who will be blinkered for the first time. If the headgear sharpens him up, who knows? This is something of a drop in class for Stolen Song, and while her stamina has to be taken on trust, she is out of a mare that was successful at this trip, so there is every reason to believe it will suit. But Princess Shoka gets a handy 6lbs off her main rivals, taking into account her apprentices claim and that may just swing things her way.
