Verdict

Buzzin'Boyzee gets a tentative vote over Nikki Bea, with Grey Boy and Writ also worth a mention. This moderate claimer does not throw up any enticing betting opportunities, but Buzzin'Boyzee has been placed on each of her last two starts at Wolverhampton, and this longer trip gives her a good opportunity to gain a third all-weather victory. She showed signs of returning to form in similar company to this the time before last, and again shaped with promise in a class 6 handicap last time out. The David Evans-trained filly has as good a chance as any and gets the nod. Nikki Bea was beaten in a blanket finish here last time, but that was in a seller, and she needs to improve a bit to consider backing. Grey Boy is worth considering though, as his last win came in a class 3 handicap at Ripon last summer, and since then he has tackled better opposition than this on the all-weather. He has not been in the best of form though, and although it would be no surprise if he were to bounce back, he is worth opposing. Writ has been plying his trade at Wolverhampton and in the main has been in good form, but he needs to be forgiven for his flop last time. They appear to be the main contenders, with just the smallest of votes going to Buzzin' Boyzee.
