Big Mystery hit winning form last time and can make it back to back victories here at the expense of Jarvo and Even Hotter. John Best's filly had shown very little before landing that seven furlong event, but if that is the sign of things to come he will be hard to beat here. Jarvo didn't run up to his best last time but had previously finished a close up fifth behind Soviet Threat here over the seven furlong trip. The extra distance will not be problem and he looks booked for some place money. Even Hotter is not the most consistent of performers but comes into the argument on the pick of last season's form. Star Ovation could be the dark horse in the line up and should be monitored in the betting market, but the safest option here looks to be Big Mystery who gets our confident vote.
