In depth

Verdict

This is probably the most difficult race on the card to assess and so the narrow vote goes to Farnborough, with Forest Air and Lady Taverner just two of many dangers. The selection has been a little bit frustrating to follow in recent runs going very close here and at Wolverhampton. He finished a whisker behind Lady Taverner last time in the race won by Saucy and there should be very little between them again this afternoon. However Farnborough's overall form is much stronger and he should be capable of beating that rival today. Forest Air is the dark horse in the line up. He hasn't raced since August last year and is making his all-weather debut. However his pedigree suggests he will handle this surface and he should be watched closely in the betting market. In a wide open affair Lillianna and Nina Fontenail are also worthy of a mention, but we will side with the enigmatic Farnborough
