In depth

Verdict

King Torus is one of a number to have seen better days and having won a Group 2 when trained by Richard Hannon, he would be much too good for these if Jamie Osborne can reawaken his enthusiasm for the game. Yasir was knocked down at the sales for just 2000gns to Conor Dore, and having left both Godolphin and Lucinda Russell, the market will tell us whether he retains any ability. Rioja Day drops in grade for the first time but we'll ride in with PRINCE OF BURMA. Jeremy Gask's five-year-old has run a couple of fair races in defeat on the turf, and he is a much better betting proposition on the Polytrack having scored on three occasions so far. Watson Sama makes a debut for Amy Weaver having won a race in France for previous connections.
