Verdict
A straightforward task awaits Kieren Fallon when he gets the leg up on Sungio and the champion jockey will be confident of guiding another winner home if the gelding runs anywhere near his course and distance win from the start of the year. Our Imperial Bay and Monsal Dale appeal as each-way hopes out of the rest and should ensure that the selection does not have everything his own way for as long as their stamina holds out. However, neither has ever won over this trip on the Flat and look vulnerable to a true stayer today. Whereas Regal Repose also makes some appeal on the best of his form but he has a fair absence to overcome and is best watched. So too is Indian Sun, who makes his debut on the level this afternoon and it remains to be seen how he will react to the starting stalls for the first time in public. Therefore, everything looks to be in place for Sungio as he bids for a third course victory since being claimed out of Luca Cumani's yard for, what now looks a bargain, ¿7,000 as he has already won well over double that from win and place money since.
