Verdict
Hugh Collingridge has found the key to Hello It's Me, who is fancied to collect again here. Gig Harbour and the admirable Cold Turkey will no doubt throw down stern challenges to stake claims to the contrary if they run up to form, while owner Nigel Shields obviously thought Linning Wine still retains enough ability to get competitive at this level when he claimed him for ¿12,000 after the gelding won in good style here last October. However, the seven-year-old has been finding life hard when tried at this trip lately and, despite being a previous course and distance winner, others make more appeal. Which brings us back to Hello It's Me, who is really on a roll at present. The son of Deploy is far less exposed than most and it is fair to say that he will be trying hell-for-leather to land the hat-trick. It is also worth pointing out that Hello It's Me has already accounted for a number of today's opponents and, as his 4lb weight-for-age allowance goes some way to off-setting his career highest mark, he has a great chance of continuing on his merry way in this company.
