The Snatcher is selected ahead of Master Of Arts and Elna bright. The last named is a consistent colt that has shaped with promise in three starts this season and is capable of paying his way again before too long. He does look weighted to the hilt though and needs luck on his side. Master Of Arts has to be respected as typical improver from Sir Mark Prescott's yard. He has been clobbered by the handicapper after three straight wins. But, as he is bred to be effective over a longer distance, he may still have more to offer. Twilight Star and My Shadow are others that help to make this a competitive event. However, Ryan Moore's agent appears to have worked overtime in getting the best book of rides at Lingfield today. And his booking for The Snatcher is a most persuasive factor in giving the nomination to the Richard Hannon-trained colt.
