Safari Mischief can get one over on his old rival Elhamri and is a confident selection here. Almaty Express and Hereford Boy make appeal at the likely odds and can battle it out as the best of the rest. Hereford Boy was well behind the selection when they encountered each other at Epsom 16 days ago. They meet again on similar terms and the outcome is likely to be the same. Almaty Express made all to win a Great Leighs last month and is respected on that effort. With the better horses drawn high, his berth in stall eight is not such a worry this afternoon. But his style of running leaves him vulnerable to a stronger finisher. Elhamri is a tough customer and is likely to give them all plenty to think about. He has not grown much since his juvenile days but, as he proved when winning at Goodwood in May, he is no back number when he gets the breaks in running. However, Safari Mischief has a more convincing profile and, as a previous course and distance winner, he gets vote this time around.
